Autumn Crush
A celebration of British wine harvest
Escape for two nights or more, with a bottle of English sparkling wine in your room on arrival, breakfast the each morning and time to unwind inn the Cotswolds and visit a vineyard or two. Sound like the break you need?
Autumn brings not only colour to our trees, but also colour to our glass. We're lucky to have such a thriving wine industry in England, seeing brilliant reds, whites and rosés, of both the sparkling and still variety, many of which are scooping up awards and featured on our wine lists.
We're celebrating the autumn harvest this year by offering you 10% off bed and breakfast and a chilled bottle of Exclusive Collection's favoured sparkling wine - Ridgeview Bloomsbury NV - waiting in your room on arrival. Available 1st October - 30th November, for stays of two nights or more.
Bloomsbury is light golden in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. Citrus fruit aromas with hints of melon and honey. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and pinot Meunier grapes, this was the official wine served for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Woodchester Valley
20 miles, 40 min drive
Woodchester Valley a selection of grape varieties, spread across their three vineyards in the Cotswolds AONB, making a variety of English still and sparkling wines, both white, rosé and red. A number of their wines are award-winning, including three Gold Awards in WineGB Awards 2024 and Best Regional Wine estate in the West.
Guided tours and tastings at Woodchester vineyard and winery are available all year round, with special events on select dates.
Larkhill Vineyard
14 miles, 30 min drive
A newer kid on the block, Larkhill Vineyard is situated on the edge of Tetbury and was planted in 2018. This five acre site in the heart of the Cotswolds offers an array of traditionally bottles fermented sparkling wines and still wines. Whilst relatively a bit of a newbie, their still wines have already scooped up awards, so be sure to check these guys out and be the first 'in the know'.
Their last summer pop-up event (with pizza) is 4th October with tours and tastings then available on request.
Limeburn Hill Vineyard
25 miles, 50 min drive
Limeburn Hill Vineyard is the only biodynamic vineyard in the south west of England, and one of only 6 in UK-wide. It is located not far from Bristol, on a sunny slope overlooking Chew Valley, with 3000 vines of red and five grape varieties, creating natural wines as well as spirits.
This ecological vineyard's tours have now come to an end, but they do have a fascinating Biodynamics Workshop on 15th November at Damson Farm, just 24 minutes drive from The Manor House.
