How do I get to the hotel?

What times are check-in and check-out?
We invite all guests to check in from 3pm and ask that you have checked out of your room by 11am.
If you have booked one of our suites* we offer an extended check-out time of midday.
If you arrive before your room is ready or want to explore the grounds after check-out we'd be happy to store your luggage for you.
*This excludes the Hot Tub Suite.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, it's free of charge to cancel, unless you have booked a special rate, until 2 days before arrival, after this time the full charge applies
If you have booked a self-catered stay at Baker's Cottage then cancellation is free of charge until 14 days before arrival
How can I pay for my booking?
We're a cashless hotel, so take your pick of card, phone or even watch to pay!
Everything you have throughout your stay can be charged to your room and settled on departure.
Do you have facilities for children?
Yes! We have cots available for free and z-beds for children under 12. Some of our rooms also have sofa beds that are suitable for children up to the age of 16.
We offer child's bed and breakfast at a rate of £40 per night, per child.

You can! We have a number of dog-friendly rooms and we even have our own special offer for bringing your furry friend to stay: the Tails & Trails package/

Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes! It's easy to stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
What's the nearest train station?
Chippenham Train Station is nearest to us which is 6.5 miles or a 16 minute drive away. You'll find a permanent taxi rank at the front of the station. Visit our Find Us page for more information.
What's accessibility like at the hotel?
We love to welcome all our guests and try to make sure the hotel is accessible to all. Our public areas are accessible for wheelchair users and we have an accessible toilet.
We have a beautiful Cosy room in our Mews Cottages which is accessible for wheelchair users and has been adapted for easy and comfortable use.

Do you have electric vehicle charging points?
We have six electric charging bays available in the hotel car park and four in our golf club car park. These are available to hotel guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do you have a gym and other fitness facilities?
Yes we do! The Loft gym can be found at our golf clubhouse. You can find out more about it here.
We also have a tennis court and can supply you with running maps via a QR code from reception
Do you have any beauty or spa facilities?
We don't, but our friendly reception team would be happy to make local recommendations if this is something you're looking for!
What time do you serve breakfast?
Breakfast is served 7am to 10.30am everyday.
What dining options can you offer me?
You can enjoy a seven-course tasting menu in Bybrook, our fine-dining restaurant from Wednesdays to Sundays.
Our à la carte menu is served in our lounges, bar or on the terrace (weather permitting!). Lunch is from 12pm to 3.30pm, and dinner from 6.30pm to 8.45pm.
Our lovely, welcoming pub The Castle Inn is just two minutes' walk from the hotel in the centre of Castle Combe. Lunch is from 12pm to 2.30pm and dinner from 6pm until 8.30pm.

Do you offer room service?
Yes, we offer 24 hour room service - please refer to the room service menu on the tablet in your room.
What time do you serve afternoon tea?
Afternoon tea and cream tea are served in our lounges every day from 1pm - 4pm.
Can I visit the golf club and what times is it open?
You can! Our golf club is open to both residents and visitors are welcome. You can view the Manor House Golf Club opening times and read all about it here.
Do you accept cash?
We are a cashless business so take VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay; plus if you are paying deposits or making pre-payments you can settle up by BACS.
