Have you always wanted to take the leap into open water but didn’t know where to start? This experience is the perfect weekend escape for swimmers of all levels who are ready to transition from indoor pools to natural waters. With a full day's expert coaching from The Dip Advisor, Ella Foote, also Editor of Outdoor Swimmer Magazine, you'll gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to embrace the great outdoors and health benefits of wild swimming.

- Saturday: Full-day swimming coaching with Ella

The small print
This package is for one or two people sharing a room. Prices may vary based on room type and availability. Spa treatments and restaurant tables subject to availability. Spa is for ages 16+.

The weekend experience
Saturday
Your journey begins on Saturday morning with a warm welcome in Botanica, where Ella will introduce the group, share insights, and discuss your swimming experience and goals. Start in the indoor infinity pool for stroke analysis and technique refinement before progressing to the natural outdoor wild swimming pool, where you’ll learn to adapt to cooler water and changing conditions. After a light group lunch in Botanica, you’ll head down to the cold water swimming lake, where you'll develop essential open water skills, including safety awareness, stroke techniques, and adapting to new sensations and temperatures.
The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, unwind in the spa and savour a delicious meal at one of our three dining destinations (don’t forget to book!).
Sunday
On Sunday morning, you can take your learnings for a test drive, booking onto our 10.30am lifeguarded wild swimming session at the lake or you can book a private 1-2-1 coaching session with Ella for more personalised feedback and advice. With room check-out by 11am, we recommend enjoying breakfast, checking out and heading over to the spa for your booked swim session or simply to enjoy more downtime to soak up the spa facilities – you’ve got plenty of time to unwind, with access until 2pm.
