How did you both meet and how did the proposal occur?
We met online 6 years ago, and the proposal was after a helicopter ride around London.
What did you love most about Royal Berkshire?
Service and the staff – most helpful and responsive vendors I have dealt with.
Did you have a theme or particular style for the day?
Yes, as I was supposed to have my wedding in Italy so we tried to keep the Italian theme with the long tables and ivy/candles as décor.
Tell us all about the dress...
I had 2 dresses – one for the morning ceremony (traditional white and red) and one for the reception (very glam and sparkles).
The designer is Roops Couture.
What do you remember most about the day itself?
Just being happy and having fun with staff, family, friends and obviously my husband.
Were there any special moments or surprises?
Yes, my husband DJ’d (I didn’t even know he knew how to do this) and our band was incredible!
What tips or advice would you give to future couples?
Stay calm and don’t worry about all the details – it will fall into place and no one will actually care if it goes wrong anyway.
