The Long Gallery

For ceremonies of up to 130 guests, the Long Gallery makes for an elegant and historic setting. 

A perfect pairing with a reception in the Great Hall, the Long Gallery also has a wealth of beautiful original features, like the hand-carved oak panelling, ornate ceiling and original chandeliers. 

The Great Hall

With room for up to 130 guests for a wedding meal and up to 200 for an evening reception, our Great Hall is a spectacular location to celebrate your marriage. 

As part of the original Jacobean building, it’s full of breathtaking original features such as the high-beamed ceiling, lattice windows, stone fireplace and original minstrel’s gallery.

The views look out over the formal gardens, and use of the space also includes the black and white tiled conservatory. This incredible space is also licensed for ceremonies. 

The Hertford & Ware

With space for up to 130 guests, this is the perfect spot for larger ceremonies. Full of natural light and gorgeous views across the water and the grounds, this is a wonderful setting to say ‘I do’. 

Situated on the first floor of the Lakeside Pavilion, your guests can move downstairs after the ceremony for the reception. 

Lakeside Pavilion

This chic, contemporary space can host up to 130 people for a sit-down meal and up to 200 for an evening reception.

Designed in harmony with our Japanese-style gardens, the Lakeside Pavilion is spacious and airy, bathed in natural light by the dual aspect windows. The private veranda looks out over the gorgeous water fountain.

The Japanese Teahouse

Our original Grade II listed Japanese Teahouse (traditionally known as ‘The House of the Pure Heart’) can host ceremonies of up to 130 guests. 

Surrounded by 27 acres of gorgeous gardens, this striking spot makes for a truly memorable location to say ‘I do’. It pairs well with a reception in either the Lakeside Pavilion or the Great Hall. 

The Gazebo Lawn

For couples using the Great Hall as their reception venue, we can also offer the stunning Gazebo Lawn, which can host ceremonies of up to 130 guests. 

Nestled in the formal gardens with the original mansion house as the backdrop, this is a wonderful space for tying the knot in the great outdoors.
