What time is check-in and check-out?
We invite all guests to check in from 2pm and ask that you have checked out of your room by 11am.
If you arrive before your room is ready, we can store your luggage behind reception for you.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, it's free of charge, unless you have booked a special rate, until 2 days before arrival, after this time the full charge applies.
All other special rates cannot be cancelled or transferred, so please check the rate details when booking.
How can I pay for my booking?
As rummaging around for coins becomes a thing of the past, we’ve now become cashless, so take your pick of card, phone or even watch to pay!
We do require a 50% deposit at booking stage for our flexible rates. Everything you have throughout your stay can be charged to your room and settled on departure.
What time do you serve breakfast?
7am - 9.30am, Monday to Friday.
8am - 10.00am, Saturday and Sunday.
What options do we have for dining?
You can enjoy relaxed and informal bar dining throughout the week, as well as afternoon tea. Visit our Dining page for full information.
If you are staying with is at the weekend, please let us know in advance as availability for dining may be limited due to events taking place at the hotel.
Do you offer room service?
Sorry, we do not offer room service.
Bringing children aged 0-10 years?
Absolutely. We can supply cots and Z-beds and have several dedicated family rooms. Please visit our Family Stays page for more information.
Can I bring my dog?
Of course! We have several dog-friendly rooms and absolutely love having four-legged friends on the property. Please visit our Dog-Friendly Stays page for more information.
Do you have a gym?
We have a small fitness room offering free weights, running machines, rowers and bikes.
Please note that we do not have showering or swimming pool facilities.
Is there free WiFi?
We offer complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel.
Which train station is closest?
Ware train station is 2.5 miles away and a taxi to and from the venue costs approximately £7. Visit our Find Us page for more travel information.
How many car parking spaces do you have?
We have 200 spaces for cars.
Do you have electric vehicle charging points?
Yes we do!
What is accessibility like at the hotel?
We love to welcome all our guests and strive to ensure the whole hotel is accessible to everybody, including maintaining several adapted accessible rooms.
